Ekota Express (Train No. 705/706) is an intercity train of Bangladesh Railway service which runs between the capital Dhaka and Panchagarh railway station in North Bengal. It used to run firstly from Dhaka Kamalapur railway station to Dinajpur railway station, then extended to Bir Muktizoddha Sirajul Islam railway station in Panchagarh. Ekota Express is one of the fastest and most luxurious trains in Bangladesh. The train contains a total of 12 bogies. It can carry 1200 passengers at a time.
Schedule: Ekota Express intercity train leaves Dhaka Kamalapur Railway Station at 10:10 AM and arrives at “Bir Muktizoddha Sirajul Islam Railway Station” in Panchagarh at 09:00 PM. Ekota Express does not have a weekly off-day, it runs every day. The train takes 10 hours and 50 minutes to cover the 639 km route between Dhaka and Panchagarh.
Stoppages: Ekota Express intercity train stops at 21 stations on the way from Dhaka Kamalapur Railway Station to B. M. S. I. Railway Station in Panchagarh. The stoppages are as follows:

Drutojan Express (Train No. 757/758) is one of the fastest intercity trains of Bangladesh Railway, which runs between Kamalapur Railway Station in the capital Dhaka and Bir Muktizoddha Sirajul Islam Railway Station in Panchagarh. Earlier, the train used to run from Dhaka Cantonment Station to Dinajpur Railway Station, but later it was extended to Panchagarh and Kamalapur. It’s one of the modern and luxurious trains in Bangladesh. There are 13 bogies in Drutojan Express train.
Schedule: Drutojan Express intercity train departs from Dhaka Kamalapur railway station at 08:00 PM and arrives at BMSE railway station in Panchagarh at 06:10 AM. The train runs every day, it has no weekly off day.
Stoppages: Drutojan Express intercity train stops at a total of 22 stations on its journey from Dhaka Kamalapur to Panchagarh. The stoppages are as follows:

It takes 10 hours and 45 minutes to reach Panchagarh from Dhaka and stops much less than the Ekota Express and Drutojan Express on the same route.
Panchagarh Express train carries a total of 13 bogies.
Schedule: Panchagarh Express train leaves Dhaka’s Kamalapur railway station at 10:45 PM and arrives at BMSE railway station in Panchagarh at 08:50 AM. Like the above two, this train also does not have a weekly closing day.

Bangladesh Railway has published the ticket price of the trains in the western zone separately for each train. However, the ticket prices of Ekota Express, Drutojan Express and Panchagarh Express on Dhaka-Panchagarh route have remained the same. The fares of the first two trains were updated and made effective on February 20, 2016, which remains unchanged till today (2023). Although the Panchagarh Express train was launched later, its ticket price was announced to be similar to the above two trains.
