Madhabkunda
Madhabkunda Waterfall, located at Moulvibazar district in Sylhet, is known as one of the highest waterfall of Bangladesh. A water stream called Madhab Chora fell down from the Patharia hills and formed a huge hole or kunda bellow, this is how the waterfall was named 'Madhabkunda'.
Tanguar Haor
Tanguar Haor is located in Sunamganj. Spread over an area of about 100 sq km, Tanguar Haor, locally called as ‘Noykuri Kandar Choykuri Beel’, is the second largest freshwater wetland in Bangladesh. After Sundarbans, it is the second Ramsar site in Bangladesh.
Hakaluki Haor
Hakaluki Haor is the largest haor in Bangladesh and in Asia. Located at the foothills of Meghalaya and Tripura hills, the haor covers five upazilas of Sylhet and Moulvibazar districts— Baralekha, Kulaura, Fenchuganj, Golapganj and Beanibazar. The area of Hakaluki Haor is 20,400 hectares.
Nuhash Polli
Nuhash Polli is a garden house at Pirujali village, 25 km away from Gazipur district headquarters. The present area of the Polli is about 40 bighas. The late popular novelist Humayun Ahmed established this natural landscape in Gazipur near Dhaka. The writer is also lying in a corner here forever.
Botanical Garden, Dhaka
The National Botanical Garden is the largest center for conservation, research and exhibition of plant species in Bangladesh. The garden is located next to Dhaka Zoo at Mirpur in the capital city. It was established in 1961 over an area of about 208 acres. About 1.5 million visitors visit the National Botanical Gardens every year.
Dhaka Ramna Park
Ramna Park is a picturesque park in Ramna area of Dhaka. It's the oldest in the city, belonging a tradition of more than 400 years.
